D365 SCM. Can someone recommend solution how to setup next case. Company produces Car. Production has 2 lines with 2 stations on each. each line can produce the same Car. CAR Bom is organised next way:
Level 0 CAR
     Level 1 Installation 1 - BOM line type pegged supply
            Level 2 Component 1 - BOM line type item
            Level 2 Component 2 - BOM line type item
     Level 1 Installation 2 - BOM line type pegged supply
            Level 2 Component 3 - BOM line type item
            Level 2 Component 4 - BOM line type item
So when I create Production order for car and estimate it system will create production order for Installation 1 (should be produced on Station 1) and installation 2 (should be produced on Station 2). The question is: how to setup system to be able to create production order for Car for line 1 and all dependant production orders also were planned to be produced on their station of the same line and if I create Car for line 2 then all dependant production orders are also planned for line 2 respective stations.

    Can you maybe elaborate about "all dependant production orders"? What do you mean with "all dependant production orders"'?

    @Laurens vd Tang Hi! Look I create production order for CAR. Because Installation 1 and Installation 2 are pegged supply, during estimation of CAR production order system will automatically create production orders for Installation 1 and Installation 2. So these 2 production order are dependent (referenced) to CAR production order. As I have 2 production lines, I want that if in Car production line I have selected 1st line resources, that in Installation production order resources from the same line were selected. For example station is resource. We have station 1 line 1 (for installation 1), station 2 line 1 (for installation 2) and the same for line 2 station 1 line 2 (for installation 1), station 2 line 2 (for installation 2). So if I said that Car should be produced at final station of line 1 then production orders for installation also should be assigned to resources of line 1.

    If I understand you correctly, the pegged supplies should have the same resources as the "car production order"?

    BOM of each item: Car and Installation have linked route. In route we have resource group Station 1 which include resources Station1 Line 1 and Station 1 Line2. The same for other station. So I want to have option to create production order for CAR with resource from line 1 and that pegged supply orders also had resources from the same line.

    I believe that's not possible in standard Dynamics 365 SCM. My suggestion is to raise an idea on the ideas portal or to consider a customization.
