Default built-in entities - Entity store - How do you see where they are mapped to tables?

In Dynamics AX 2012  I am looking at using entity store to publish data to an Azure instance and want to fully understand a few proposed built in entities to use.

I am trying to locate the mapping from the AX database into the built in entities. for example, if I go to Data import export framework>target entities and get a list of the built in entities, select one ( customer)and select 'entity structure'It shows Data Source: Customer.  But, I think it pulls in fields (like addresses, etc.) from other tables.  (this assumes that the Data Source Customer is referring to a table.. I was getting confused since the framework can be used for import or export/integration)

Really, I was just hoping to find a complete mapping of these entities or a place to view it.  Is there a place in the UI where these can be viewed in terms of how they are mapped to tables?

Thanks in advance for pointing the direction,  I have searched for quite some time and all I can find is "these entities come built in"  or "here's how to create custom ones" type posts.
