Can someone explain the calculation behind the planning worksheet? When executing the "Calculate regenerate planning" the result calculations do not seem to add up to the shown results. Is anybody familiar with this?

MRP and MPS process is bit more complicated than you think.
Please refer Codeunit 5431 - Calc. Item Plan - Plan Wksh. for further investigation.
Please note that the dates you have entered plays a major role in this calculation.
