Multiple pick lines in the work for the single line in the sales order

Posted on by 76
Hi all

we have a below scenario

Item A      Sales order :: S0001    Line quantity 3    FEFO controlled batch below location reservation hierarchy ,  when we reserve the ordered items and release to warehouse the work is created with multiple pick lines  for the same location and same batch number   as below  but business needs single line as sales order line here we are releasing the ordered quantity to warehouse ( no partial release) , please let us know if we are missing any setups or any reason for this behaviour.

Pick  Item A       quantity 2       Loc 1
Pick  Item A        quantity 1      Loc1
Put   Item A        Quantity 3      Loc 2

Thankyou Tang for the detailed response , here in business scenario they are using replenishment as the on hand is not available it is creating lines for the remaining quantity in SO pick once the replenishment work is completed. Thanks

    Good day Saurabh,

Have you configured already a work header break or system grouping field? If not, you can do it via the following steps:

    1. Select the work template for sales order picking

    2. Click on 'Edit query'.

    3. Add a sorting on 'Order number' and click than on 'Ok'.

    4. Click on 'Work header breaks'

    5. Tick the checkbox 'Group by this field'.

An alternative option is to use the system grouping function of the mobile device menu item:

    Best regards,

    Laurens van der Tang
