Passing GLPOSTDT using the taRMTransactionPost

Posted on by

We would like to add the GL posting date by passing the value to one of the user defined parameters in the stored proc and then using a simple update to update the GLPOSTDT column with the value in the user-defined parameter.  Should we update the RM10301 or SY00500 table?

It depends on your posting setup. If your posting setup is configured to retrieve posting date from transaction, then you need to update RM10301. Otherwise, if it is configured to retrieve the posting date from the batch, then you need to update the SY00500

To check your posting setup, Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Posting > Posting. Click on the Sales Series, and then choose the Receivable Sales Entry origin.

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
