the description of posted statements in 2017 can shown as
But in 2018 it doesn't appear like that it is just empty , anyone can help me with how can I solve that ?

Yeah there is data , I have problem with posted statement there is no description with it , instead in 2017 was description like " Cash - Retail Bank Payment - Statement # 00000181-000007 " in 2018 this automatic description has stopped I don't why and I don't know how was it working .

Is there the possibility that those payments and the description are automatically created through an import? The way how the descriptions are recorded seems to be supported by a kind of automatic functionality. Do you know how those lines are created and posted in detail?

Kindly note that there is no choice of ( Cash - Retail Bank Payment ) and I did it with (Customer - cash payment ) and ( Customer - payment, customer ) after that I posted statement then I checked detailed trial balance report there is no change in description .

Please open Org.Admin/Setup/Default descriptions.
Then look out for the one that has 'Cash - Retail Bank Payment -...' in the description.
This default description should automatically fill the text field that you mentioned.
