Sales orders not accessible in sales order form

Currently, the sales orders (SO) are not accessible in the sales order form ESP-024295. This is a blocker for month end closing. There are no error messages, only data missing. SO has not been invoiced completely

    Hi,

I would assume you have a customization on the form?

Can you check if the SO is present in the table itself? It would be good to know if it is present in the table but not on the form or also not in the table. Does it work with any user or with just some? Or put differently, do you have any XDS customizations for the data?

    https://[tenant-Url].dynamics.com/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=SalesTable&cmp=[company]

    Kind regards, Adis

Treat this as a visibility/query/security problem first, not a data-loss problem. Start with filters and company context, then compare users and use Security Diagnostics/XDS to identify the exact restriction.

    Hi @AA-14080521-0

Please check the SO it's availble in the table or not. If it's availble there might be some filter has been applied.

Also you can check using DMF whether you are able to export using DMF. If yes, the data is available in your system.

    Hi @AA-14080521-0

You can first verify whether the sales order exists in SalesTable if you're having access to SSMS:

    SELECT SALESID, SALESNAME, SALESSTATUS, DATAAREAID
    FROM SALESTABLE
    WHERE SALESID = 'ESP-024295';

If the record exists, check the SalesStatus, DataAreaId, and any filters/personalization on the Sales Order form.

Alternatively, you can open the SalesTable Table Browser directly:

    https://[tenant-url].dynamics.com/?mi=SysTableBrowser&TableName=SalesTable&cmp=[company]

Replace [tenant-url] and [company] with the relevant values.

If the record exists but doesn't appear on the form, check the form's query/ranges and any customizations.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Do you have access to the sales orders again, or do you have still the same issue? Is this the only order which issues? Was something changed in your environment?
What exactly do you mean by not accessible? Is the order not visible? If so, what exact data is missing?
It will be helpful to provide more background information, so we can help you.

    Good day,

Can you reproduce the issue in a test environment?

    Best regards,

    Hi @AA-14080521-0 ,

Could you please perform the following checks first:

    • Confirm there is no saved view or filter applied on All sales orders.
    • Confirm you are in the correct legal entity.
    • Verify the user's security role/access is not restricting the SO.
    • Ask a System Administrator to check whether they can see ESP-024295.
    • If it is not visible under All sales orders, try accessing it through Open sales orders and search for the SO directly.

This will help us determine whether the issue is related to view/filter, company, security, or data visibility before proceeding with further technical investigation.

    Regards,

    Syed Haris Shah
