Limit Totals & Date Filters

ReportReport

Hello All,

In NAV we are used to looking to the chart of accounts page and we use the date filters and limit total filters for quick on the fly reporting.  I have not been able to find this feature in D365, but even when looking at the description of the Net Change field it references the Date Filter Field.

Are advanced filters coming to D365 Business Central?  If not what is the purpose of the Net Change Field on the Chart of Accounts page if you can not determine the date period that you want to see the change in?

Thanks,

Brian

    Dear Brain,

It references the date field because that's how it generates the trial balance report. Apart from that the purpose of the Net change field on the COA Page is that you can drill down into details when you click the hyperlink.

Apart from that I'm not sure if advanced filters will be covered in the 2nd April update or not.

I created a custom account schedule to create such a report.
