GL journal workflow notification

Hello,

How can we add the Journal description in the Daily journal workflow notification (in AX2012 R2)? There is no Ledger journal table Name placeholder (only Journal Name, Journal Num or Journal Type).

Any thought?

I tried but:

* Ledger Journal Table.JournalName give the journal name (like GJ in our setup)

* Ledger Journal Table.JournalNum give the journal number (and we use that one)

* Ledger journal Table.JournalType give the journal type like Daily

I cannot find the one to give the journal description (Ledger Journal Table.Name) and I wonder if there is a way to create a placeholder? or if I need to use another placeholder that will have a different name?

Hello Violaine,

I have not done that Kind of adjustment but it does not seem to be too difficult.

Probably have a look at the following sites to get an idea what to adjust

Thanks for your help.

But I do not have this option in my placeholder list (we use AX2012 R2). And if I direclty write it into the notification it is not working.

Humm I am not sure. Is this Application version 6.2.10000.1437 looks alright? (I found this under the About Microsoft Dynamics AX form).

The Name field is not available in the query. That is why I cannot use it.
