2011fp1-   T&M Details (SD.203.00) -   when inputting items with valuation method of User Specified-  add item,  add unit cost.    Tabbing off the Unit Cost sets it back to zero.   The ext cost remains for a moment,   SL fires User Defined Cost Warning:   "The cost for this item is zero,  do you want to edit the cost?"    If you answer yes and add the unit cost (for the second time) it remains.

occurs in Standard Mode.

This looks like a bug but I could not locate anything in KB.

I know this is an old question - but is it possible to disable this message entirely?

Hey Carolyn,  I too have had this issue with both fields, and after the workaround, which seemed to work for a day, the problem is back... can you help here or should I open a case?

    Hi Tony,

Do you want to handle this through here or on the case you just reopened?

I tried the work around and it fixed it for the unit cost but now the unit price gets set to zero after I set the unit cost.  Any other ideas?

    Thanks.

    Tony

    Hi Stacie,

I found bug 25197 (Unit Cost zero out on user specified cost item after tab through Service Date field on Service Dispatch T & M Details).  The workaround is to customize the screen and move the Service Date to the position before the Unit cost.  Then it keeps the value.  Do you want to try this and see if it corrects the issue for you?
