Use of dimensions in Edit in Excel

Hello

I use Edit in Excel regularly and am aware that the template exported from the general journal includes fields for only 2 dimensions. How can I include a field for a third dimension in the template?

When in BC I use the 3 dimensions , but upon export into Edit in Excel, the 3rd dimension field does not seem to be included.

If it is not possible, could you advise on how to import a journal from excel using 3 dimensions.

Thanks

Need to add the additional dimension field(s) while in Edit in Excel mode.

Hello, you can use Popdock to get your data from the general journal web service and then Popdock will include all Dimensions and you can export the list to Excel if you wanted.

Here's a great article about using Popdock for multiple dimension reporting:

    Thanks,
