Multi-language Reporting in NAV 2009 R2 Classic

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I have a group of users that would like to be able to have specific reports print in Spanish, when needed.  Most of the requested reports are custom.  A lot of the information that needs to be translated are text strings.  At this point, there would not be a need for the UI to be in Spanish.

What recommendations does the group have on approaching this?  Should we consider using a language module?

The best solution is to use a Spanish language module. But, if they need only few reports, you can make copy of these reports on 50000 range and translate caption to Spanish. You will place these translation in ENU caption and then you don't need a language module.
