In the newer versions of NAV, Microsoft have made extensions for separating standalone functionally like country specific code so it's easier to maintain.
I have some code created that uses one of the fields moved to extension. (upgraded from 2016 -> 2018). When the field is made as an extension the NAV-DEV-Envoirment wont acknowledge the field in the extension exist. Do I need to re-write the custom code into an extension myself and can I do it in my own extension or do I need to add onto microsoft existing extension? or is there some other way around this?
My code uses ect. the 2 fields in table ID 1250 - match status & description.
