Locking down a Gen Led Budget to prevent editing

Good day

Is it possible to block an Gen Led Budget in Business Central from being edited without having to get inventive around permission sets?   We want users to enter budgets and then at a certain point, we want to lock that budget down to prevent further editing.

We would like to do this without having someone write code please.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Although you said you don't want to, permission sets is the only way I can think of. So removing the 'modify' action would prevent edits. If there are many users this affects you may want to use a user group and assign the permission set to that group.

    Hi, Unfortunately, Gen Led Budget does not have a standard Lock feature.

    If you don't want to customize, please use Permission Set.
    If customized, perheps it might be more convenient. (We all know that Permission Set is very complicated.)
