manufacturing orders starting date

Hello there,

I create a first order; the prod. ord. routing is based on the machine center L3 with capacity 1 run time 2h. So the order start at 8:00am and finish at 10:00am

Then I create a second order based on the same machine center L3; I was expecting the order start date was 10:00 am, instead it is always 8:00am.

Can someone help me to understand how an order starting date works and if I should do somthing else to plan the order start date based on the machine availability?

Best regards,

Marco

If you perform forward planning the Refresh Production Order batch job will base the planning forward from the starting time and the starting date. The program will calculate the ending time and the ending date. If you process backward scheduling the Starting Time and the Starting Date will be calculated by the planning based on the ending date and the ending time.

    Thank you Stefano.

I still have some issues but I take some time to figure them out; I'll back to you in the other case.
