How do I know which job is triggered by what action the users takes in Navision ?

Posted on by 4,359

Hi Community,

I have some job queue that was set up below, and I want to find out what triggers them and see if I need to disable them, how do I find out?

For example, I want to know what trigger Sync Management, where can I find this information?

Hi, As far as I know, this is generally judged from the Job queue name. That is, empirically.

And some Job Queues are preset in the system, others are added automatically when setting up certain features, such as Currencies Service.
If you want to know how the system automatically added which Job Queue, you can export all programs to Text, and then search in it. (Although this is a bit complicated)

    Hope this helps as will.

    Thanks.

    Hi Josh,

May I ask is there anywhere I can obtain the information to which you just describe or is it only functional consultant will know about it?

    Thank you!

Delegation 1 is when an approver chooses to delegate. Do you have substitutes setup in your approval setup? If not you could disable.

Currency update isn’t user triggered. It will call a service for a user and add exchange rate data. Do you need an automated service for this?

O365 sync will be triggered as and when specific O365 products are used like excel, word or outlook. I’d say to leave this one
