D365 On Premise Communication Error

Posted on by 5

Hello Everyone

I have recently installed D365 v9.0.8 in a new multi-server environment.  Two FE, two BE.  The load balancer for the 2 FE's is being configured by my client.  I do not have an update on that yet.

In the mean time I am importing organizations.  The first one went fairly smooth, with a few glitches that I worked out.  It's up and I can navigate to it just fine.

Two other orgs are not doing so good.  They imported just fine with no errors in the log file.  But when I navigate to them I get this:

"A communication error occurred while processing the async operation."

I cannot seem to find any information.  I have restarted all services, even rebooted all servers, including the SQL Server.  I am at a loss at the moment.

Any help will be appreciated.

    Turn on tracing

    support.microsoft.com/.../how-to-enable-tracing-in-microsoft-dynamics-crm

Then look at the tracing logs.  Those logs will tell you a lot  more

    Hello Joe,

    Hope you are well.

    Is this problem still occurring?

What extra details can you provide?

    - Printscreens

    - Small output of verbose logs exactly when you hit this error, enabling them with Crmdiagtool

    Thank you.
