Excel Export as Static Worksheet include Option Set values - do not want

Recently updated to D365 from CRM 2011.  When we export data to a static Excel worksheet from D365 any fields that are Option Sets include all the available values.  We just want the selected value.  This is causing some issues working with the data in Excel.  Is there a way to export to Excel and not have it include all the values in the Option Set fields?

    Hi Doug C,

Typically, only one Option Set value will be selected per cell if it is a standard Option Set field. Do you have an example of an exported Excel spreadsheet for us to look at?

I cannot upload a full spreadsheet as it has proprietary data in it.  But here is a screen shot from Excel showing all the options are embedded in the spreadsheet.  And I know I can do things in Excel to leave just the values but trying to find a way from CRM to Export just the selected value, not the whole set.

    Hi Doug C,

That is how an exported Excel spreadsheet is supposed to look when exported. You will need to reformat the Excel spreadsheet after exporting it to remove the values.

    Adrian:

We have the exact same Advanced Find in CRM 2011 and when we export the results we do not get all the options in an option set.  We only get the value selected.  Has there been a change since CRM 2011 that is causing our D365 exports to include all options on an option set field?

    Hi Doug,

We're having the same issue, did you ever find a solution?

    Hi AndrewS12,

I do not know why are you saying it is an issue. It is a feature. It shows your selected value but when you are trying to update it shows available values. I am wondering what is the issue here.
