Configuration Package - Production BOM Import

Hi 

I am trying to import the Production BOM data from NAV 4.0 to Business central. So I have create new configuration package in Business central and imported the Production BOM Header records(22000 records) successfully.

But while trying to import the BOM Lines records(35000 records) facing "Production BOM *** must be not certified" error message for most of the records.

I tried checking the "Skip Table Trigger" field and unchecked the "Validate Field" boolean field in configuration package but still facing same issue.

Since we cannot uncheck the primary key fields in table, In production bom Line table am not able to uncheck "Validate field" of the "PRoduction Bom No.", "Line No" and "VErsion No." fields.

On checking the PRoduction bom line table's "on insert" trigger the status check validation happens but we cannot comment this in business central. 

Can someone help me out on this.

    Hello Shyamaraoo,

    Well, as I know, to create a BOM manually you should ALWAYS set the Status field to NEW or Under Production and when you complete then you can set the Status field to Certified.

    Try to change your BOM status (From Certified to New for example). Then when you finish importing you can write a simple code in a code unit to set all Status fields to certified.

    Hi Shyam,

    The correct steps to import BOM's are:

    1. Import the headers with details at status 'New'.

    2. Import the lines coupled towards the headers

    3. Set all headers to 'Certified' using a different or altered package
