We have just upgraded our GP2018 R2 from version 18.4.1290 to 18.4.1384 which was supposed to fix the errors with MFA and workflow.
However, we now have the same issue that occurred back in 2015/2016 version of the following error:
"A save operation on table 'coAttachMSTR' has created a duplicate key" which seems to occur because it is adding records without the attachment id field.
I have also tried updating our test system to the latest patch released (1484?) but the same error occurs on that version as well.
We have trawled through various websites and forums and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Dynamics on our test system but it still has the error.
Any ideas?

If you don't apply the workaround fix in my article, all VSTools Addins fail. That's why so much functionality is breaking.

If you are in Australia. Have you tried my work around.
This should disable the faulty ABN Lookup Addin and allow everything else to work.
Please confirm if it sorts the issue for you.

Right now, the plan is to get a fix in 2022, but nothing scheduled right now.
As it impacts all BAS/Australia customers, I'm sure we'll try and get it out sooner than later such as in a hotfix.

OK, so Microsoft is aware of the issues. That is good news.
The next question is do we have an ETA for when the patch will be released?
We are currently developing work arounds to get past some of these issues but some we cannot resolve.

This at least explains why we have such a mess after the upgrade.
Can you please add that the Copy/Paste from Excel into GL Journals is also not working, which I assume is all part of the same thing.

This is also related to the Australia region/BAS feature issue we currently have with Dynamics GP 18.4.
