Issue with Excluding Prior year Sales on an Inventory Report

I'm still newer to Microsoft Dynamics GP and Smartlist and I'm having an issue excluding prior year sales from an Inventory report smart list that I created. My inventory report is running off the smartlist table Item Quantities. I use this table because I want to show what items have been sold and which ones are currently allocated on orders not yet invoiced.

However since I am starting year 2, I notice that last years sold products are still showing up in my smartlist and I am to exclude anything by date in this list.

My question is, am I able to move these sales from the prior year into history so they are excluded from the list. If so what would I need to do for that. Or is there another smartlist that I could use in Inventory that would show me Inventory Item numbers summarized by item number with totals for invoiced items and allocated items.

I am using GP 2013 and Smartlist Builder from that same year.
