Quantity on Hand is being questioned by a customer

Hi guys,

I have a customer who is questioning Quantity on Hand in RMS.

Item Properties card is showing OH Quantity of 35 where Stock Movement report is showing 46 OH.

There are layaways/ work orders etc in place.

If you could advise what could cause discrepancies that would be great.

    what are the filter settings on the second report.  It is not clear what is included on that report.

    Is it recommended to run worksheet 501 atleast once a month to make sure hq and store items are synchronized.

    Hi Gosia.

    I think You are comparing apples with strawberries :-)

    Item Movement Report is not designed to track current Item Quantities, rather "item movement". Also, it doesn't include Items that are On Hold, in Offline database (if any), on Work order or a Layaway. Also, if You have altered the quantity of an Item outside RMS (SQL, 3rd party program or similar), those "movements" will not be in the Item Movement report, so You'll have discrepancies.
