How can I create a PowerBI report from Dynamics 365 entity. I tried to check in the PowerBI but I am not able to get some option for custom entity and how can I display that report in CRM portal.

Hi Partner,

1.Do you mean you can't find the custom entity in Power BI?

I just create a new custom entity in my D365 and got it in Power BI Desktop.

You could refer to this link for more details about how to create Power BI reports.

2.It is possible to put Power BI report into Portal, please refer to this link.

You should publish the Power BI report/dashboard to web first and set its link to portal.

I recently faced this issue. You need to download the PowerBI Desktop. Connect to your CRM instance form the PowerBI Desktop and there you can select your custom entity and make your report. Once you are done you can publish the report/dashboard from PowerBI Desktop to PowerBI Online. Let me know if you need more help.

Thanks for your sharing.

Power BI Desktop is necessary to create report with D365, and connect to your instance then you will be able to find the custom entity in Power BI.
