D365FO - How is to reduce the size of the log files safely?

Hi there!

There is a cloud-hosted D365FO environment which has Drive G: running out of space: only 2.55 GB left free out of 87.8 GB. I use this Azure-based VM for testing and disaster recovery tasks so I have it running the DB synchronization very often. Could you please advise how to safely shrink the log files?

Essentially there are several options how to do this, please refer to this answer on stackoverflow

And please note that it has nothing related to AX, so you will get more help on SQL forums.

I see all log files is very large , you can set your recovery model: simple.

or create a Sql job to clear log periodically as ievgen Miroshnikov mention you
