Security error - Trying to close a quote as Won in PSA

Hi everyone,

Trying to close a quote as won and failing with a security privilege error.

Currently the user logged in has the roles:

1.  Project Manager

2.  Project Approver

3.  Resource Manager

It looks like this "might" be an issue with the contract line invoice security entity?  Is there somewhere I could look to determine this?  The following (below) is from the Practice Manager which has a lot more security.  I added this to the user and they are able to complete the action but I don't want to add this to the users.

    Hi Drew,

Can you try logging in as Admin and try to do the same and share if it works? I hope you can do a test quote and try that out. Moreover, did you recently upgrade your PSA? Can you share CRM version and PSA version please.

    Hi Muhammad,

It works with assigning the Practice Manager role so I know it would work with Admin :)  The version of PSA is 2.4 and Dynamics 365 is 9.1

We did not upgrade PSA, this is a new implementation.  I am trying to work with Microsoft to move me to PSA 3.0 but that is taking a bit...

    Thanks,

Drew, do you have Invoice Schedules defined on your Quote? I'll try to simulate this "soon" but in the meantime if you isolate the issue I recommend a peppered role to get you moving forward.

Yes, he did.  Peppered Role?  :)  You mean copy the Project Manager and just start add this security and remove the Practice Manager to see if fixes?

Add the relevant access levels and privileges to a new role and assign that role to the user as an additional role to get moving forward.
