MS dynamics AX 2012 Notification list

Hi,

How can we manage user notification list to be deleted automatically after they take the relevant action for task with approve or reject action

we setup Notification list for user with notification type ''individual'' to alert them when the workflow run to them to take action but after they finish their task the notification list didn't updated itself to remove the old notification. so, the users confused. although this list update automatically with some users

so that what is the solution to update these list automatically to remove all tasks which already finish by users

    Agree with Ludwig. There is audit purpose for this form. If you really want to clean up some junk data from it, consider to run SQL script to delete data from EventInbox table.

    Hi Gina,

    The notification list has a status that changes to 'read' once a user opens and reads the notification.

    This gives users the chance to read the notifications once again in case they need to check something or overlooked a detail.

    Personally, I would not auto delete those notifications but rather wait at least a couple of days to ensure that people can revert back in case they have to because of a correction/mistake/etc.
