does anyone have best practices after combining fixed assets in D365?
I receive the correct result accounting wise with either posting a split journal or reversal of the acquisition with the new fix asset. (Cr new asset, Dt old asset)
The combined asset book shows status open and acquired.
The merged assets show with the split function same status open and acquired, with the reversal not yet acquired and current.
Does anyone have experience with the management and reporting of the merged assets and how to proceed?
