Excel file from batch job getting currupt when recieved in email .

hi , everyone i have created a batch job which will send email in excel to emil id put in parameter , i am getting email and excel file in email also but when i try to open the excel file the message popups. can you please guide me how can i resolve this so i open my excel sheet without error.
