Workaround to modify Standard Table Field Calcformula

Hello,

I'm working in the Cust. Ledger Entry Standard Table, and I would like to modify Calcformulas of some Standard Fields. I know I can't do it directly, because CalcFormula Property cannot be customized. But is there any workarounds ? Like, create new fields in a Table Ext with my own CalcFormulas, and in the Customer Ledger Entries Standard Page hide the associated fields with visible = false, and create new fields ine Page Ext related to my own table Ext fields.

Do you know any better way than this one ? Because I see problems with it. As habing to change a lot fields connected to the field of wich I want to change the CalcFormula (I want to change the "Amount" field).

You cannot change the calcformula, as you also stated.

The workaround is the one discovered: create your own field as table extension and refer to that field in your private IP.

You might also create an entry into IDEAS site if you want to have this behavior changed and let development team know that you just want to change calcformula property.
