How to Connect to Second Instance under same tenant without mentioning Credentials (Password, Client Secret)

Hi Team,

Currently we have 2(A,B) instances under same tenant. Suppose If logged into A instance in browser and if browse B instance also in same browser then it will not ask me any credentials and directly navigates to B instance. Like that Is there any way to connect B instance without giving credentials in Plugin/ Workflow of A instance?

I am user of both instances (A, B) and my mailbox connected to B instance. If i create any email activity (with attachment or without attachments) I want to create the same in B instance so that mail will be delivered to recipients. So I want create connection( can be IOrganizationService or WEB API) to B instance in Plugin of A instance so that I can move email activity without using username && password or ClientId and Client Secret.

Let me know your thoughts on how to connect to other instance under the same tenant? can use any token which generated during user logging in browser and connect to other instance in Plugin?

I checked for Power Automate option but it seems there are some limitation with respect to email activity and attachments.

Thanks alot.

Regards,

Prasanna.

    HI LU HAO,

Thanks for your response. But I already checked this option. Facing below issues when I checked for  Power Automate option.

    1. When email is created in other instance FROM, TO,CC,BCC fields are not moving from current instance.

    2. Unable to move Attachments to other instance from current instance.

    Thanks again for your response.

    Regards,

    Prasanna.

    Hi Prasanna,

You use Power Automate to create records for another instance.

There are two connectors of Common Data Service, one is for current environment, the other is available for another environment.

So the connector of the trigger is Common Data Service (current environment), then add a "create a record" step with the connector of Common Data Service.

In addition, if you want to migrate data between two instances, please refer to this thread: https://community.dynamics.com/365/f/dynamics-365-general-forum/293445/move-data-from-one-entity-to-another-instance

CRM SDK provides a data migration tool/application called “DataMigrationUtility” which allows simple data migration from one CRM environment to another CRM environment.
