Purchase Line Expected Receipt Date Calculation

Posted on by 10

Hello All.

Is there a way for NAV to automatically populate the expected receipt date in the purchase lines?

We have the lead time calculation in the item card, would it be possible to have the order date add the lead time to calculate the expected receipt date?

Thanks in advance

    ItemVend."Lead Time Calculation" := SKU."Lead Time Calculation";

    Maybe we need to create SKU for item

    RE: Purchase Line Expected Receipt Date Calculation

    Hi,

    We are running Dynamics NAV 2016 and we are experiencing this issue as well. Even though we have specified a different lead time on the item card, the expected receipt date seems to be calculating from the lead time calculation on the vendor card? I would have thought the item card would override this value?

    I checked and we don't have any Item Vendor Catalog configured for this item.

    Hello Vinh,

    Thank you for posting your question on Communities.  I hope you are doing well

    Actually, the Expected Receipt Date should already be auto calculating based on what you have for the 'Lead Time Calculation' on the Item Card.  So what you are asking, should indeed what it should be doing.  That I can confirm with you.

    I have seen, however it has been awhile so memory is not clear on it, that there was some issue if you also had an 'Item Vendor Catalog'.   Can you check this?  On the Item Card, go to the Navigate tab, and click on the Vendor button to see if you have an Item Vendor Catalog setup.  If so, what happens if you remove it temporarily just to test to see if you add a new line to a purchase order for that item, that the calculation is correctly administered.

    Thank you!
    Bryan
