CRM Date field entry keyboard shortcuts?

Hi CRM Community!

Does anyone know of usable keyboard shortcuts for CRM date fields? I've seen some such shortcuts mentioned online but none of the date field shortcuts seem to work on date fields in CRM online.

What I'd like to have is for something like Tab or some Ctrl/Alt/Space/whatever keyboard combinations to open the standard calendar of date fields, to be able to navigate with arrows in that calendar and choose date with enter or something like that.

At this point it seems that really the only option is to use mouse. Or enter date manually. Both are cumbersome.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

(CRM is latest version online and in terms of browsers I can use whatever browser would support such shortcuts).

Francesco, I'd be even more than happy to pay you a virtual coffee or something if this could really work. Choosing date in CRM is a pain every time it has to be done (well, especially for keyboard and shortcut oriented users who touch type).

You can rely on me on not making it public.

I'm really curious about how you have implemented it and will happily be a tester for you for this solution.

Hi Lauris ,

i solved this obvious problem of date input developing a web resource which "make the job".

Unless you're in a hurry in a few day i could post it to you, with the promise you will not make it public as i'd like to publish it as part of a library.

There is no such keyboard shortcut is available for date field specifically.

I am afraid there is none at the moment for ; there is one you can try is "Alt+down" arrow.

but very less chances that it will work.
