HI guys
trying to customise a view with a new column which will be the owner of the record. However there are now drop down entity's (like in this example) any idea what I may be doing wrong?

Thank you for the suggestions I've had a look and have just created a custom view. I believe I was looking at the entities in the wrong place (customisations instead of solutions).
The entities available in the dropdown are those of which there is a lookup on the current entity. For ex. if you are creating a view of opportunity then it will also show you entities such as contact, account (because there are lookups of both on opportunity) etc. These entities are available so that you can also show columns from parent entities. So you can select the entity of the desired column in the dropdown and add the column to the view.
Can you provide a bit more information? What version are you on? What columns are you trying to pull in?
Is the issue that the correct entity is not in the drop down? Or the drop down is not functioning?
A few things to try would include clearing your cache and starting again. You may also want to try from a different browser. Keep in mind the only entities displayed in the drop down will be those directly related to the primary entity (the "Look for"). This means there is a lookup on the primary entity to one specific other record.
