The Change email in Portal that allows users to change email to enable use of the new email for login or correspondence..
Out of the box, when a user request for change of email in the portal it
- It uses the new information(email) as the new identity for login
- problem with this is that what if the email was not a valid email or security issue
- user is able to login with new information without confirming the new email registration.
What is the best way to achieve an approach that allows users to change email but still use their current email until the new email is confirmed, once the new email is confirmed then the old email login is removed and replaced with the new.
i.e login will be prevented to the newly specified email add until confirmed
