Can I use Microsoft Azure cloud credits to host and setup Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales module for development and demo purposes?

The trial is only for 30 days (unless you request for extension) irrespective of where you host it (considering it is possible) you will have to redo the customization.

I actually want to integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 to a third party system, and do some customisations on top of the existing functionalities. Creating a new account and setting up the customisations each time(or whenever the trial period expires) might not be the perfect scenario.

Why do you want to do that? Dynamics 635 Sales trial is internally hosted on Azure but with their own scalegroup. If you just need it for dev/ demo purpose, you can just start the trial. You can either use you existing o365 subscription or create a new account (i prefer new account just to ensure that it is spearate).
