I created a user and assigned the role and home page role. When I go to test the user the window shows - you do not have security priveldge to open this window. I checked everything and I do not find any mistake. Can you assist, thanks..

Hi Mahmoud, It was due to SmartConnect interfering with the Security role. Came to know through SQL profiler. Thanks for the help.
Have you assigned the security role to the requires security tasks ? What is the window that is giving this error ?
I think I was not clear enough. In fact I created the security role and assigned it too. So the steps I followed were - to cerate a user, assigned a class, password, created a role of AP Adm, assigned it to the user, granted access to the company,,,,so what is missing from here?
Apparently, the user doesn't have access. Please take into consideration that the home page role has nothing to do with the windows security, if you set a home page role as accounting manager doesn't mean that you are granted an access on the different accounting windows in Dynamics GP.
