How can I get the NoteFix Utility without paying $175 for a support incident?

I am trying to take a production company and copy it to a test company.  I found this great article (871973 - https://mbs2.microsoft.com/Knowledgebase/kbdisplay.aspx?wtntzsmnwukntmmyqlytnsukzpxkmunvuvwknqnqnskxuqpw) that explains exactly how to do it.

However in the notes section of the article is states that if you are using Record Level Notes (which we do) you have to call the MBS Tech Support at 888-477-7877.  I called them twice and niether tech had any idea what I was talking about and wanted to charge me $175 just to talk with me. Doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling to pay $175 to someone who has no idea what I'm talking about. When I asked if they wanted the article ID, they said "no."

Is there another source to get information on this NoteFix Utility?

    If you were direct to the correct team I can assure you that all the engineers are familiar with the Notfix Utility here at MS guys.

    Will this work in 2010?  I noticed the PSTL doesn't have it in it.

    Leslie, the latest version I have is 11.0.4. Does this version still have the duplicate note issue?

    Hello all,

    I don't want to burst the bubble here, but there are some problems with the GP2010 notefix utility. It does not detect all duplicate indexes as it did in earlier releases. I've tried it, even within the same table, duplicates were not detected. It still does some valuable processes, but test it in a forced environment to make sure you get the results you want.

    The only disappointment I have experienced with the current version involves identiftying duplicates. In my experience, it did not identify those records correctly.

    Pam, let me check with one of my Microsoft contacts on this. I am not aware of any fixes having been done to the NoteFix program. I always used to run TSQL commands anyway.

    Thanks, Richard, I finally got a copy of 10 and 2010 by calling Microsoft and sitting on the phone for a half hour or so while they found it.

    I did see a discussion from Leslie Vail since then (link below) that some of the options weren't working?  Do you know if the problems have been fixed?

    Pam, just send me a private messsage and I will email over Notefix for GP 10 and GP2010.

    Richard, I didn't see your answer - is this Notefix SQL script compatible with GP 10 and GP2010?
