We want to update a field in Dynamics, so we're exporting approximately 1,000 records and then performing a VLOOKUP on the Account to update this field with the data that needs to be updated.
I do the VLOOKUP and then paste the data as text into the field with the updated data, but when I import the same Workbook — which has the '(Do Not Modify) Account' '(Do Not Modify) Row Checksum' '(Do Not Modify) Modified On' fields — all the records fail with "Import Create: A Record was not created or updated because a duplicate of the record already exists'.
As this is an Update (NOT Create), I can't understand why Dynamics is trying to Create records. I mean, the Checksum data is there to show Dynamics that this is an exported record and not an attempt to create new records.
Weirdly, this kind of worked yesterday. It updated about 400 of the records, but it didn't do them all, which is why I'm trying to run it again with a newly exported View's data.
Any suggestions as to how I can get this imported?

Thanks.
Hi partner,
Please check if there is data in columns A, B and C of the Excel.
If there is no data in columns A, B, and C of the row, the row of data will be judged as a new record, and will not be used to update existing records.
