Syncing Employee from F&O to MVC App

Hello there,

I need to add an employee to my MVC App whenever an employee is added in F&O. I tried using creating custom alerts for employee creation, thus batch job create alerts, which is captured in power automate F&O connector . The Data is capturing successfully, but I need to update the employee in MVC App, whenever employee is updated in F&O. I am stuck here !

In Business central, we can trigger power automate flow from BC Screen. Do we have any option like that in F&O? Am I doing the creation in the right way? how to achieve updating data in MVC ? Please guide

Hi,

As Martin said, to sync employee data to your MVC App, you can consider the following approach:

Create a custom alert for employee updates in F&O similar to what you have done for employee creation.

Set up a batch job in F&O to trigger the custom alert whenever an employee is updated.

Use the Power Automate F&O connector to capture the updated employee data.

In Power Automate, configure a flow that will send the updated employee data to your MVC App through an HTTP request or any other suitable integration method.
