Greetings to all of you.

I have a customer's production environment which includes almost 50 custom tables as a part of our PTE app.

By having a user with a teams member license and assigning to this user my custom permission set that comes with my custom app, will a team member have access to each and every custom object of mine?Is there any restrictions regarding the use of custom objects(tables, pages, codeunits e.t.c) from a user with a teams member license?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello,

Yes, if possible, I leave you the Microsoft documentation about Team member licensing:

Business Central Team Members application module may be customized with maximum 15 additional
tables (custom tables or standard Dataverse tables) available to the Business Central Team Members
    license.

    I hope I can help.

    Regards,

    Andres

As far as I know the upper limit is 15 tables. You can download the latest license guide below to take a look.

In addition, if it is the On-Pre version, I remember there are only 3 tables.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Yes, you can control access to your custom tables and pages for Team Member users by creating custom permission sets within your PTE app.

Even though Team Member licenses are limited in functionality, they can access custom objects, provided:

The objects are included in your extension's permission set.

The user is assigned that permission set explicitly.

You can create and assign these permission sets using AL or through the Permission Set UI. If you’re unsure, it’s best to contact your Microsoft partner to help define and assign the correct access.
