Have others had any issues with the Quick Find? Obviously, they made it default where you can't begin a search with a "*" but you can turn it off. It seems as of Monday, 10/10/22, other issues were introduced. Example adding this box when searching. Not sure how to get rid of it.
Also searching with back-to-back searches is bugged. If you search a 2nd contact for example, open record, click Save and Close, it goes back to the first search you made instead of where you left off.
Hi - we've been testing this week and the fix has not yet been applied. Our IT department is working with Microsoft, I don't have the ticket number or any additional information at this time.
Hi there
Any news regarding the release of a fix?
Will you post the message from Microsoft or a ticket ID?
great. Thanks so much for the reply.
Yes. Microsoft will deploy a fix in early January.
Did you end up getting a response from Microsoft?
Yes - we are experiencing the same issues. We found a workaround - click the "X" to clear the search, however that got buggy a couple of days ago. Now, when we click the "X", the view is changed to include all records (view is refreshed with an asterisk, indicating changes to it, but we didn't make the changes).
We submitted a ticket with Microsoft - awaiting response.
We are also experiencing the caching issue. We can search twice with quick find, but the third time repeats results of the second search. Two days ago, we could search, then click the "X" to clear it out, and search again - this worked every time. Yesterday, when we click the "X" to clear it, the view filters change to show all records in whatever entity we are doing the search in - puts an asterisk by the view name to show that it has changed, but we didn't make any changes to it.
Hi Partner,
With the arrival of 2020 wave 2 updates, many new features are appearing along with some unavoidable bugs.
Don't worry it!
Microsoft team is actively improving them based on user feedback.
For your questions, you can try to use the following workaround:
Append the below FCB in URL to mitigate the issue: &flags=FCB.PersistQuickFindFilter=false
--Before:
--After
Or you can open one ticket for Microsoft support to disable the FCB and more help:
