DIXF Custom Entity Duplicate Restriction

(0) ShareShare

Hello,

I am trying to upload several entries to the UnitOfMeasureConversion table using DIXF. I started creating a custom entity which seems to work correctly uploading the fromUnitOfMeasurement, toUnitOfMeasurement, Factor, Product, Denominator and Numerator.

Nonetheless an issue comes when using the CSV file I recieved with recurring Product numbers. I end getting a duplicate value warning  regarding those product numbers and the import is not completed. These entries with the same product number have different units of measurement associated with them therefore I do need them uploaded too.

I was wondering if there's any way to remove this restriction or perhaps someone has an alternate solution? If needed I can provide information regarding the custom UnitOfMeasurementConversion entity I created.

Thanks in advance

    Hi Humberto Della Torre,

Could you please share details around your entity, what is the exact error message your receiving ? Do you have any indexes on staging table or any code that do validation ?

    Hi Humberto,

Like Ievgen mentioned, it should be related to index usage. Probably it can also be related to the relations defined on the staging table. Please share how you created the new entity. Did you use the wizard? What steps were taken?

I used the wizard to create the base of the entity. Following that I created generate methods to transform the symbols and product to their corresponding RecId. No other changes were made. I'll check the index usage and the staging table relations and follow up if my problem is fixed.

It was indeed the an index that was created with the wizard that didn't allow duplicated. Thank you for your help.
