Opportunity Connection Views

Hello!

We are using Connections in Dynamics to relate users to Opportunities with various Connection Roles, like Secondary Owner or Solutions Architect. The issue we are having is providing a view in Dynamics where a user can see all Opportunities they are associated with either as an Owner or one of the Connection Roles. We have tried using connected entities in the view filters and we have tried View Designer in XRM Toolbox but we cannot seem to get all Opportunities to show up in one view for a specific user. We have searched everything and even met with Microsoft to see if they could help but so far, no luck. Has anyone else had this issue? And if so, how did you work around it?

I would recommend checking this - crmtipoftheday.com/.../

I used a similar approach and it worked for me unless there is something special about that connection entity.
