When the user prints multiple copies of any report, the printer does not sort it like it did before. I don't know if it's related to the GP upgrade as we recently upgraded from GP 9 to GP 2010.
In 9.0, if they print say 2 copies of a 5 pages report, it printed the pages in the ff order 1,2,3,4,5 and 1,2,3,4,5 and so on. But in GP 2010, it now prints like 1,1,1,1,1 and 2,2,2,2,2 and so on.
What I found out so far is that when I go to Microsoft Dynamics >> Print Setup and then check the Advanced tab of the printer, the Collated checkbox is not marked. However if I go to Control Panel >> Devices and Printers, the Collated checkbox is marked by default.
OS: Windows server 2008 r2 64 bit, Printer: HP Laserjet 4515.
Any ideas how to mark Collated by default?

This issue does not just affect collation settings, it affects # of copies and other printer settings as well. Dynamics GP refuses to honor the print driver defaults. I have reproduced this in GP 2010 and our client has GP 10.0 and they are having the issue as well. I'm not sure if they will fix on GP 10 since it will be getting phased out, but I understood they would have one final service pack for 10.0 so maybe they will fix it.
It's a bug in GP2010 w/c is scheduled to be fixed in SP3 per MS support. Maybe it's also a bug in GP10.
I am seeing the exact same symptoms but with GP10. Any resolution found for this problem?
