We recently updated our on-prem CRM System from version 8.1.0.379 to 8.2.2.112.
Some changes in this version have been made to the BPF which result in a changed numbering of the pipeline phase (stepname) field for at least us.
Before updating we had our steps in following order:
1-Opportunity
2-Customer Requirements
3-Solution Design & Quote
4-Negotiation Phase
5-Prototype / Sample Units
6-Verbal Approval
7-Order
Using these values we have set up some charts and also enable rules for customized buttons.
The BPF has not been changed at all for months.
After updating to current version we have following numbers in the stepname field for all opportunities that our sales men work on and bring through the BPF:
7-Opportunity
8-Customer Requirements
1-Solution Design & Quote
2-Negotiation Phase
3-Prototype / Sample Units
4-Verbal Approval
5-Order
Has anyone else seen this behaviour?
Any idea how to repairthis would be welcome. AFAIK this field is filled by the system and not by any custom process. I have not found out where these numbers come from exactly. I always guessed it's the position of the stage in the BPF, as the BPF is not changed I'm not sure anymore.
