Server Page is Not Open - Segment Subform

On the Segment Subform (5092) of the Segment page (5091), I try to add a line and search for a contact by name (e.g., *SMITH*) and click on the Name column (instead of the Contact No.) in the Contact pull-down selection.  More than half of the time, I receive a dialog box with the following message: "Server Page is not open.  Page Lookup 2 must close" (where # is the   Sometimes the entire page will close; sometimes only the pulldown list will close.

I have also tried entries directly on the Segment Line (5077) table.  I still receive this error when trying to use contact name to search (e.g., "*SMITH*" and changing the sort to sort by Name instead of Contact No.).

    Not so much.

    I am seeing this with Dynamics 2015 with sufficient hot fixes that it looks like 2016. :)

    This error has been fixed in NAV 2013 Platform Hotfix Build 42219.

    Matthew,

    You can try this , sometimes it could be because of corrupted metadata, can you clear the metadata for Segment Line Subform Page, Segment Page and Segment table from the below tables and compile all the objects again

    User Metadata

    Page Data Personolization

    Profile Meta - Try to delete the profile metadata also if you don't have many personlizations.

    FYI, the only way that I was able to fix this was to change the selection from a list of contacts from a pull-down box to a new page.  We have about 30K records in the subset of contacts being displayed.  It is disappointing that Navision lacks the support for this functionality or the documentation to explain the reason for the error.

    Matthew,

    In standard Navision i don't receive any error message, as Archer mentioned please check if table 5077 or page 5092 is modified. I believe it is part of a customization and also check if you have anything in your event log.

    hi,

    check if the page, the sub page and table are changed/customized. to do that check the modified date and the documentation trigger (edit the objects in the object designer).

    if at least one object was modified, contact your nav partner.
