Association Production Order between Previous and Current Months

Posted on by 87
Hi,
In Business Central, production cost is posted when the production orderis completed.
Even when a production order is partially completed and there is some remaining quantity, once the operation/production order is required to be completed for the monthly cost calculation to be recognized.
Then, the remaining quantity is carried over in the following month for producing. In order to register the actual cost for the remaining quantity, a new Production Order has to be created. In that case, a new Production Order No. is assigned, wihch has no connection to the previous production process.

Our customer says It is hard to find which Production Order has the relationship with the production order in the previous month. This makes them get the cost for this Production management is high operation load.

Regarding to this point, is there any solution or good idea to have connection between the current and previous Production Orders?

Thank you.
Regards,
