I am bringing Stampede back and combining it with Airlift. That’s right we are going to have a fall event that will have a sales/marketing track plus the consulting developer track that was airlift. It will be like Stampede but also have the technical conference elements.
So prepare to come to Fargo in November. November 10-12 to be exact.
Yes it will be cold, but the content will be hot the value will be fantastic. In future years we plan to go back to September. We will also have post and pre training options available.
Now, the important part. What do we call it? What do we call the new age of Stampede and Airlift? It’s time to help me decide. Give me your ideas. Anyone who helps or guesses will get a prize. Prize to be determined.
Take your ideas to LinkedIn, to Twitter and Comments on my blog. Help me name the fall event.
Please can we avoid using seasons and the term "Fall". Your Northern Hemisphere Autumn is six months out from my Southern Hemisphere Autumn. And only the US uses "Fall" to refer to Autumn.
I think the conference should be called "Stampede". I know that historically Stampede was more sales oriented, but there is something special about the name and I think we should start using it again.... even if it will now include sales and technical streams.
I, for one, am planning to be there. It will be great to catch up with the Fargo team and all the partners, as well as see what is the latest and greatest in the Microsoft Dynamics GP world.
How about StampAirPedeLift de Fargo???
Like David, I think Stampede is a great name. I have fond memories of past Stampedes and I am sure many others do, also.
There is also a shorter version of Richard Wheeler's suggestion "StampLift". But the post office might object.
I do like David's suggestion of "Stampede"
