I am trying to setup EFT file format for TD Bank in Canada, but on GP 2013 R2 doesn't have this file type on the EFT File Format Maintenance. Did any of you used GP EFT format for TD Bank if so please share your experience. The file format is called EFT 80 Byte File by TD Commercial Banking.
Never used that one, but none of the UK banks are listed which means creating a user Defined format each time we need one; I'd say that is your best bet.
However, in GP 2010 you are limited to defining a fixed width text file; GP 2013 allows the creation of CSV and other format files.
Babu - sorry for stating the obvious but CA - Toronto Dominion is the same as TD Bank Canada.
Hope this helps......
Sorry I didn't know that, let me try the same on tomorrow and let you know.
What I will suggest is you first consult with TD Bank and request them about their EFT format. Then accordingly you can check available EFT format File. Once you got similar EFT format file you can do 1 or 2 test Prenotes and have to send them to TB Bank for verification. Basically most of the files have a length of 94 characters. I have set up my EFT with JPMC Chicago with NACHA CCD+ and its running successfully. I have not added Addenda Line because GP EFT does not print Addenda correctly or its not correctly formatted.
Please feel free to ask more clarification.
Thanks & Regards,
Sanjay while that is great advice in general terms the question is specifically about usu g thr provided file for,at provided for the bank that Babu was asking about.
We have been implementing Canadian Payroll for over 15 years and this is an answer I am pretty confident is correct.
That worked after tweaking and thanks for your help.
Thanks Sanjay for you kind reply
I created a EFT format using ISO 20022 - Domestic with file type XML. I used this EFT Format and generated EFT file on Purchasing and the file generated correctly but the extension coming as TXT than XML. Can you please let me know hot to get XML file of EFT.
