A Stanford University paper asserts that developers that have access to an AI assistant often produce less secure code than those without. Additionally, a previous paper by NYU researchers found that utilizing GitHub Copilot also produces potentially vulnerable code. While limited in scope, it gives food for thought as developers utilize these artificial intelligence tools in their coding environments. Hougaard has released an updated version of the Business Central Field Guide for the latest release, Business Central 2022 Wave 2, also known as BC version 21. If you are just starting with Business Central, this is a great resource.
The Dynamics 365 Lab recently published instructions for using OAuth 2.0 to connect Dynamics 365 Business Central and Web Services in Power Automate. Since the web service access keys for Business Central SaaS were removed in Business Central 2022 Wave 1 earlier this year, you need to transition from Basic Auth to OAuth.
